D e l i g h t f u l ! 

This carrot cake was just amazing! Very moist, nice texture and lovely topping! It also had some pineapple which made it even better. I bought it at a Fundraising event at Westcliffe Baptist Church!

I'm going to give it 9/10!

I've had the Tesco Finest Carrot cake many times before and would rate it quite highly. It's nice the topping is also in the middle of the cake. Just a shame there weren't any nuts!

I'll also rate this one 8/10.

Carrot cake 4

A VERY nice slice of carrot cake made by Mrs Buckley, my friends Mum.
One of the ingredients was coconut which gave it an extra special taste. I also really enjoyed the ammount of walnuts in there as this is something that is (sadly) often left out of the recipes.
It was also very moist and had a nice texture.

I will give this one 8.5/10 as I''ve still got a lot more to try! =)

German cake

Beautiful cake! The spices and chocolate pieces made a perfect combination. Also very nice consistency and texture. I want more!!



I've got to to give this one a 9/10 as it was really good!

Carrot Cake 3

This carrot cake from Costa is the best I've had since I started this blog.
It was quite moist and had all the right ingredients to make a perfect carrot cake.
Also had a very smooth texture unlike a lot of other ones I've tried.


I'll give this one 8.5/10 just because I've got a lot more carrot cake to try!

Carrot cake 2

I couldn't resist buying a slice of carrot cake from the Vintage Market I went to in Boscombe today!
It didn't really taste like carrot cake though which was a bit dissapointing. The cream wasn't as nice either however, this one did have sultanas and walnuts which the previous cake didn't.

Score: 5.5/10 =P

Carrot cake 1

This one was made by my brother. It was...delicious...and the first carrot cake he has ever made! In terms of presentation it's not all fancy and with little carrots on the top but I'm sure the next one will be better!
It was quite different to other carrot cakes I've tried. He reduced the amount of sugar in the topping which made the cake lighter. The consistency and texture was also very good.

As this is the first one I am blogging about I don't want to give it the top mark so let's say...8/10!
